Welcome to my site. I am an assistant professor of political science at the University of Amsterdam. Currently, I am a visiting assistant professor at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies and the Department of Political Science at Yale University. I am also affiliated with the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) and the Empirical Studies of Conflict Project (ESOC). I study the effects of transnational institutions and mechanisms on domestic politics, as well as the microfoundations of international relations.
